Technical Support FAQs

Q: What are the system requirements to use SuffolkOTB?
A: This site is designed to work with Internet Explorer version 7 or greater,Firefox version 2.0, and Safari version 2.0.
Q: What is the optimal screen resolution?
A: 1024 by 768 or better.
Q: What security features does SuffolkOTB employ to ensure my information is safe?
A: SuffolkOTB.com is constructed with the latest technology to ensure the safety and privacy of your personal information.
SuffolkOTB is secured with SSL certificates issued by VeriSign. [link to verisign] All sensitive information entered on our site is encrypted using minimum 128-bit SSL encryption.
When you access your wagering account by logging in, all of your identifying credentials – such as account number, PIN, username and password – are transmitted securely using minimum 128-bit SSL encryption to our server with a session identifier number. Beyond login, the betting and information pages are presented outside of the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), as the information displayed here is not considered sensitive and because this method makes the process more efficient.
When you place a bet, it is transmitted along with a session identifier. Our server then uses the session identifier to match your bets to your account information, which was previously transmitted securely using SSL encryption. The server does all of this – removed from visibility to the Internet and within the server side of the application – to protect sensitive account information.
